Wilderness Adventures in Pontefract

At Wilderness Adventures we love to party. We can provide you with the ultimate experience with a tailor made birthday party. Whether you want a military style birthday or a bushcraft/survival party you can be sure it will be a birthday to remember. Suitable for ages 5 and up. Based in a safe and secure location in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

Activities will be adapted to suit the age group of the party and may include the following:

Building a den/shelter.
Fire lighting in a controlled environment.
Cooking party food and snacks on the campfire.
Making spears/arrows.
Bush tucker trials.
Air rifle shooting (age dependent).
Treasure hunt.

Available throughout the year.

The UCAN Centre is pleased to announce that Craig Thomas Hammond has been appointed as the new centre manager.

The UCAN Centre will be hosting events to show off the talents of our young learners and local artists and craftspeople.

UCAN is a vocational training centre which offers a huge range of opportunities to young people in the Wakefield district, and a centre for the community.
